It is generally accepted that bikers have rock bands at their rallies so on this occaision we ( Moto Guzzi Owners Club of Great Britain)decided to break with tradition and have something different....We welcomed Swinging the Lead to our 39th annual V Twin rally in Fordingbridge. To most of the audience the songs were familiar ,people were up and dancing from the first song and this set the trend for the night ! Thank you all for a truly memorable evenings entertainment...with no bleeding ears.

Hi David, Many thanks to the 'boyband' for coming to Explosion! and performing at our party on a very warm, evening in July. Your music was lively, entertaining and much enjoyed by our guests and of course, us! The mix of styles, from sea songs to traditional, folk rock to contemporary was perfect to listen to as the tide rolled in and the lights twinkled around Portsmouth Harbour. Perfect!

Had a really great evening at your gig at Lee-on-the-Solent Jubilee celebration - a great way to start the Bank Holiday. The sound quality was really good and, considering that you played in the Recreation Ground, carried well and filled the field. A really good selection of music, well performed and orchestrated, had the many hundred strong audience dancing, clapping and (sometimes) singing along. Many thanks for the music; we will watch your web site for your schedule and hope to attend one of your performances again.

I like the website and you sound great on the free tracks. Perhaps we will get a chance to perform together sometime. Regards Pete - 'Swinging The Lead' (Sea Shanty and Folk band based in North Kent)
